Dr. P. S. Sha Valli Khan holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D. and has extensive international and national research and teaching experience in Plant Biotechnology, Tissue Culture, Micropropagation, Molecular Biology, Proteomics, and Stress Tolerance in Plants.
He has served as Visiting Faculty and Research Fellow at reputed institutions in Italy, Taiwan, Japan, and Luxembourg, in addition to his academic experience in India.
He has successfully undertaken several research projects sponsored by DBT, DST, UGC, SERB, APEDA, and other government agencies, serving as Principal Investigator, Co-Principal Investigator, and collaborator. His research has focused on micropropagation, biofuel production, haploid production, biodiversity conservation, crop improvement, and abiotic stress tolerance.
He has guided several Ph.D. scholars, authored numerous research papers in international journals, and contributed chapters to books published by John Wiley & Sons and other reputed publishers.
His achievements include GATE, UGC-JRF, NET, CSIR-SRF, international postdoctoral fellowships, visiting fellowships, and the DST Young Scientist Award. He has also actively participated in and organized numerous national and international conferences and symposia.
